At 58,419, India reports lowest daily rise in Covid cases in nearly 3 months

The daily Covid count in India remained below 1 lakh for thirteenth day in a row. At 58,419, the country reported the lowest daily rise in Covid cases in nearly three months, pushing the total tally to 29,881,965, according to data updated by the Union health ministry at 9am. The deaths also remained below 2,000 mark for the third day in a row. With 1,576 deaths reported in last 24 hours, the total death toll has reached 3,86,713.
