Covid-19: With 93,249 new cases, India records highest daily rise since mid-September

India reported a steady nationwide surge in coronavirus cases on Sunday. The country recorded the highest single-day rise of 93,249 coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, the Union health ministry said. This number has pushed the country's Covid-19 tally to 1,24,85,509.​
